About The Admission

Rules and Regulations

The School has been established to cater to the educational requirements of the wards of Army personnel. Consequently, children of serving Army personnel coming on transfer from out station will not be denied admission at any time of the year subject to availability of seat and student qualifying in the Entrance Examination.

School admits boys and girls of above 5 years of age.

Admission to any Class except class-1 is made after a pre-admission test, a valid transfer certificate from the previous institution is a mandatory requirement for admission

A student coming from another recognized school shall not be admitted to a class higher than the one in which he/she was studying at his/her former school, unless promoted to the next higher class at the end of the academic session.

No provisional admission is permitted under any circumstances.

Priorities of Admission

Children of serving Army personnel (including DSC), children of Army widows and TA personnel who have a minimum of 10 years embodied service.

Children of Ex-serviceman, DSC personnel retired with pension from DSC.

Children of serving Air Force and Naval personnel.

Children of civilians paid out of Defence Estimates. Para Military Forces including Coast Guards, MES, GREF and TA (when not embodied).

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR APSs IN LUCKNOW : SESSION 2021-22

1. There are three APSs in Lucknow Cantt,

2. The NODAL SCHOOLS for admission process are as under.

   a) Classes I – VIII : APS Nehru Road

   b) Classes IX to XII : APS LBS Marg .

3. Parents seeking admission for their wards in classes I – VIII are requested to contact APS Nehru Road.

4. Parents seeking admission for their wards in classes IX to XII are requested to follow the following steps.

   b) Step 2 : SUBMISSION OF REGISTRATION FORM : Take a print of the form, fill up the REGISTRATION FORM and submit the HARD COPY in school office along with the following documents on working days between 9.00 am to 1.00 pm

   Transfer Certificate

   Report Card

   Serving Certificate ( in case ward of Serving Personnel)

   Discharge Book ( in case ward of ESM)

   Copy of Registration document duly attested by Principal ( in case seeking Admission in class X and XII)

   Photograph of the child

  c) Step 3 : ENTRANCE EXAM & SCHOOL ALLOTMENT : steps.

   Entrance Exam (Only for NON APS Cases) will be conducted through ONLINE MODE as per the following schedule. School Staff will contact you on the Mobile no provided by you .

  After you complete the documentation you will be provided with the ADM NO of your ward . Kindly pay the fees as per the following procedure :

  Step 3 : ENROLLMENT IN CLASS GROUPS

   Send a pic of fee payment which clearly shows your Ward’s Name , Class, Adm No , Fee paid and Contact No ( shd be functional on Whats App)

Proof of age

In case of Defence Personnel, extract of their record of service, duly attested by their Commanding Officers, will be accepted as a conclusion proof for age of their children

Birth certificate issued by Military/Civilian Hospitals as well as Municipalities/Village Panchayata will also be accepted.
